Substantial wooden handles inside each sleeve-end allow the wearer to grip and retract the mitt straps to effect an effortless escape - if he’s cleaver enough to hide the ‘trick’ from whoever is supervising the putting on of the jacket.

The jacket has plastic facings and is made from not particularly robust canvas. Definitely a showman's jacket rather than a serious challenge to any self-respecting Escape Artist - but for a collector it makes a very interesting talking-point.
